<BR>How dressy do you have to be for this dinner?

Quite casual. About the same as for a nice but not classy restaurant.

What and where is the Starlight Dinner Train?

It's a tour train from North Vancouver up Howe Sound and back every evening from May through September and they serve a four course meal during the trip.

Can you take kids on this? or is it more an adult thing.

I don't think pre-teens would enjoy it after the first hour or so. I would guess they'ld want to move around a bit and obviously thats not encouraged because of the serving staff. So no, it's probably not a venue where young children would be welcome or terribly happy.
