Snow geese and ghost tours

Going to Quebec the end of April through the first week in May. Do I have a chance of sighting the snow geese migrate near Montmagny? Also, has anyone been on or know about the ghost tours of Quebec? Thanks.

You should be fine for Snow Geese. Check out http://lavoieverte.qc.ec.gc.ca/faune...ese_s2002.html

The geese migration is underway if the honking I have heard overhead in the Washington, DC, area holds true for everywhere else. Looked like very loud Canada honkers to me.

Thanks for the info. to you both. I went to the website but they seemed more interested in shooting them with a gun instead of a camera. I'm excited about my first trip to Canada. Are there any other photo ops that I shouldn't miss up there?

Elby.
That conjures up an amusing senario. You turn up for a tour with your cameras and everyone else has shotguns.

Your only photos of geese are of them spiralling earthward.

I cannot help with specifics since I am from the other end of the country.

Around here, in the summer, any lake is surrounded by geese, so the photo ops are unlimited.

Other photo ops are direlect barns etc in the eastern townships.

Montreal provides an interesting juxtaposition of glass skyscrapers and 200 year old churches.
