sleeper room size on red and silver service

We have booked a trans canada train trip from Vancouver to Toronto and will board the Canadian in Jasper. Does anyone know if one sleeper cabin might be larger than another? Seems like I read somewhere on this blog that Cabin F was a bit bigger. Any other suggestions re: this trip?

Hmm - I would have told you that I don't think there is difference in the size of similar cabins; ie, all double bedrooms are the same, all drawing/triple rooms are the same, etc. When we've taken that trip, we didn't notice any difference. But after checking VIA's website, it does appear "A" and "F" are slightly larger. It could be deceptive because they show various cabins made up for daytime and nighttime configurations, so I'm not positive. Sorry I can't be more specific.

BTW - Just enjoy the trip. If you haven't done it before, it is a thoroughly enjoyable, beautiful and relaxing experience. After you board in Jasper, I'd immediately try and get seat in a dome. Great scenery for the next several hours.
