If you drive up to whistler, you'll have the option of blackcomb, whistler and the creekside areas to ski; all are interconnected I think by now with a state of the art gondola; all have a wide variety of trails so you can pick and choose.

poolboy,
Whistler is a great place to ski with lots of runs for all abilities and preferences. Their base elevation is very low, so it does rain at the bottom of the mountain a little too often, but beginners can ski all over, so no worries. It's about a 2 hour drive. It has developed a lot since I skied there and they are getting ready for the 2010 Olympics Games. Should be a fun time to go! |
If you can't fit in the drive to Whistler you can ski at Cypress or Grouse or Seymour... they are basically "in " the city.
