Should I give my travel agent a gift?
My travel agent is planning a complicated independent holiday for me. This is the first time I have used this travel agent and I know that the travel agents I have used in the past would not be capable of arranging this holiday. I know that my travel agent will make commission from the company we are dealing with. I'm pleasantly surprised, she actually cares and is eager to get me the holiday I want instead of trying to make a quick buck. I want to show her I appreciated all her hard work. How can I do this? A gift? A referal? Repeat business? What is appropriate/inappropriate? I don't want her to get the wrong idea. Any thoughts? Thanks.

I posted a reply but I don't know where it went! (or, did you post this on US too?)
I give my travel agent referrals, repeat bus & a little something @ Christmas like flowers, a plant, chocolate or wine. Same as I do for everyone else who helps me out throughout the year.
