short term apartments

Hi All,

Will be spending a month in vancouver next summer, working near st Paul's hospital. Can anyone tell me the best areas to stay (not too expensive)I will be there with a 5 year old so don't want to travel to far out.

Also has anyone ever stayed at the HI Vancouver downtown? would like to know what its like and the surrounding area. I planning a short trip before xmas.

Thanks

The Holiday Inn relaly isn't in a great area. Quite a few tattoo parlours and the like in that area. It's not dangerous or anything but there are better choices, especially if you have a child in tow.

Why are you thinking about that particular property?
You might find the Rosellen suites a good place to stay with a child... right in the west end so there's more of a neighbourhood feel.

Hi,

I checked out the reviews for the HI Vancouver hostel
http://www.hostelworld.com/hosteldet...ripadvisor.com

and it looks ok. This is for my trip hopefully before xmas. I only plan on staying at the hostel for three nights, but I won't be travelling with my son on this occassion.

He will be travelling with me next summer for a month, so I will check out the Rosellen suites. Thanks
