My sister and I are planning a trip to nova scotia coming via bus 11 days from buffalo area....is 11 days enough to see tha highlights of ns??. trip stars in maine ,to nb, pei,baddeck,halifax, bar harbor maine and gorham nh. whats in gorham nh???? <BR> <BR>

Are you taking an escorted bus tour? If so, this sounds like a wonderful itinerary. Eleven days is fine. Gorham, NH is located in the beautiful White Mountains of New Hampshire. If this is an escorted tour, perhaps you will stay in Gorham, while touring the area. If so, it's beautiful. Keep your eyes open for Moose! Maybe they'll be taking you to the outlets in nearby North Conway. Shoppers heaven, if you like that sort of thing. There's NO SALES TAX in NH.

We were on a Tauck Tour couple of years ago with a similar sounding itinerary and about the same length of time. Our tour started in Boston and then through Maine, picked up an overnight ferry and onto Nova Scotia, PEI, New Brunswick and down through Maine, ending in Cambridge. What a wonderful trip and one I would love to do again! Your trip sounds equally wonderful, although we didn't go to Gorham. Our tour started on June 1st which I would do again. We were the first tour group through the area, along with a Globus Tour, and there were absolutely no tourists. We couldn't believe the fabulous resorts that were only open a few months and then closed for fall and winter and spring. Looks like you're on the right track to me.
