The Banff Springs Hotel is of course a great heritage hotel and you can certainly get a good meal in one of their restaurants while enjoying the baronial splendour of the place. My choice in Banff for a special dinner, however, would be Eden at the Rimrock, if cost is no object. Ask for a window table.
