Scenic Drives on Vancouver Island?

Living in Seattle, we have been Victoria but no other destination on Vancouver Island.

Our days of hiking and other outdoor activities are pretty much behind us, but we do enjoy scenic drives, rooms with views, and good food.

What is a good route for scenic drives on Vancouver Island?

Highway 19A north of Nanaimo to Campbell River is pretty spectacular, Victoria to Sooke, Sooke to Port Renfrew (a little boring in spots), but once you get to Port Renfrew the view is spectacular.....and there is a nice place to eat on the water.
Victoria to Duncan via the Malahat, or take the Mill Bay Ferry from Brentwood Bay to Mill Bay. Duncan to Lake Cowichan and then along coast northward. Hope this helps.

If you're planning to spend several days in one area of Vancouver Island, head to the west coast to the Pacific Rim National Park around Tofino - you can be completely lethargic and still enjoy the beauty from some of the most scenic hotels in the province. Lots of nature, scenery, scenic beaches, gorgeous sunsets, and excellent food.

From Victoria after you go over the Malahat, veer right to take in Cowichan Bay , Maple Bay and maybe even Genoa Bay. In the fall, especially if the leaves are starting to turn, this part of the island is gorgeous.

Check the forums on Tofino, BC and you will find many (well -deserved) rave reviews.
