Does Sirius Satellite radio work in Canada?
We're driving from Banff to Vancouver and Vancouver Island.

The short answer to your question appears to be, "Yes."

I'd never heard of Sirius Satellite Radio. An Internet search brought up the following link:

Not yet. They will be launching in October.

The signals fall down from the sky and, other than in shadowy parts of mountanis and close to cliffs, should reach your radio, assuming yoiu are bringing it with you from the US.

Sirius plans to start Canadian operations, but that just means adding some Canadian signals, and perhaps reaiming some of the satelitte transmitters. You'll be close to the US border, and should be getting decent reception.

There is radio in Canada, too, of the old fashioned kind, but I think satelitte in the mountains will be much better, other than the lack of news about community picnics you might attend.
