Royal Ontario Museum slashes prices
The Royal Ontario Museum put out a news release today announcing big drops in admission prices.
Here's one paragraph: ROM adult general admission is now $15, more than a third off the previous rate of $24. Senior and student admission have been lowered from $21 to $13.50, with child admission dropping from $16 to $12. Admission for children under 3 years of age remains free. Unlimited free admission for ROM Members also continues. As well, to benefit more visitors, the age range for student pricing has been expanded from 15-17 years of age to encompass 15-25 years of age (with student ID). - - - - - That saves enough money to cross Bloor Street from the crystal front, and find the Vietnamese restaurant up two flights of stairs (Pho) for lunch or dinner. (Really. $9 will feed you) BAK |
Good to know.

Smart move, really. It really is a great visit. Was there at one of the Munk Debates and enjoyed mooching about the new digs. It's not your parents' ROM. :)

It's a wonderful museum; I went there on a Wed afternoon at 3:30 for free. I wonder if that free admission is still on. The reduced prices are sure to help attendance. Perhaps, they are looking towards winter business?

Annetti, I think they have done away with the free Wednesday afternoons now that they've slashed prices. But it is well worth a visit.
