Restaurant Recommendations for Lake Louise/Banff/Jasper areas
Does anyone have restaurant suggestions for the Lake Louise, Banff, Jasper areas. Looking for great food, resonably priced - lots of flavor!
Thank you so much!

Here are a couple of restaurants that my brother recommends but they are quite pricey so they just go on special occasions when they are there. However he says when they do go the food has always been worth it. In Banff

Lake Louise

and another one that is more casual is the Lake Louise Station House. (couldn't find a website)

"If you haven't been to Bumper's, you haven't been to Banff!"

Breakfast at Melissa's is a long-standing Banff tradition.
For more upscale dining, try the Bow Valley Grill at the Banff Springs or Le Beaujolais.
In Lake Louise, the Post Hotel restaurant has a reputation for superb cuisine with prices to match. Laggan's Bakery and Deli is good for sandwiches and snacks.
If you are in Yoho Park, try the Truffle Pigs Café in Field. It's excellent for lunch and dinner.

Some of my favourites in Jasper:
Something Else (Greek), Fiddle River Restaurant, Evil Dave's, Andy's Bistro (European)
Most restaurants have their menus posted outside by the door so you can check them out for selection and pricing.
For lunches/coffee: Café Mondo, Bear's Paw Bakery

Lake Louise...The Post Hotel. Old West decor . If you want to bring your own lunch, there are picnic tables by the river outside. I see it was already recommended above.
Banff.. a fun meal is the fondue at the Grizzly House.
