Reservations?

We're really casual travelers (refering to planning not dress) and I'm wondering about being able to eat dinner in a restaurant without making reservations. Is this going to be a problem? Nothing too fancy, just a few steps up from fast food
Thanks

????Where????

No, sorry.

Reservations are required everywhere in the world at every restaurant except for fast food restaurants. So I hope you plan to starve if you don't make reservations.
sorry Gary
I just mean in one of these "Cafes" I read so much about. Doesn't have to in a restaurant like "Torque" or whatever that is.
I think she's talking about Montreal. Am I close becky?

Many of the more casual restaurants in Montreal, especially the byob's, don't take reservations. Just bring your wine, and stand in line! Lots of them, especially on Prince Arthur St. and Duluth St. also have outdoor tables.

Zootsi,
Kisses to YOU!
That's what I was hoping to hear.
(and oh so nice to have someone read my mind, not like that other person who had to have it allll spelled out and was oh so rude about it)
Becky

Becky, if you expect someone to read your mind on the cities in Canada in which there are coffee shops, you are a real idiot!

amy Aug 28th, 2002 03:19 PM

Becky,
The messages are pooled together under the "Canada" forum. The only way that someone would know specifically where you're referring to, is if he/she found it after plugging in a particular section. Having not done this, the rest of us are clueless, not rude.
Sorry, haven't perfected my mind-reading skills!

I TAKE BACK the rude comment.
Becky
