Quiet Montreal Hotels

My wife and I are traveling to Montreal in May 2018. We're hoping to find a hotel under $200USD with our primary goal being quiet rooms. We're not so concerned with street noise but noise between rooms (I'm a light sleeper). For example, we were considering Casa Bianca, but read a review claiming there is considerable noise between rooms. Hotel St. Denis and ITHQ are examples of the hotels we're considering. Close to Old Town or the Mt. Royal area is our preferred location but we're flexible if we're close to Metro. We appreciate any tips or suggestions, thank you!

For a quiet hotel room, you will have to stay in a building originally planned and build as a hotel.

It's been quite a while since I was there, but my recollection of the Chateau Versailles is that it was very quiet -- I could be wrong, though, or things could have changed (and I don't know the current prices), so if you consider it, please do some research first.

Montreal is delightful -- enjoy!
