Quebec City in December?

My husband and I are looking to spend our 1 year anniversary in Quebec City. The dates we were looking at are December 14-December 19. Does anyone recommend hotels, activities, restraurants? This will be our first trip to the city.

The first question is where are you from? Will you be flying in, or driving from somewhere, will you be jetlagged? The weather will be cold average high temperature about -3C, night time lows about -10C, so you need warm winter coat/parka, hat, mitts/gloves, definitely walking/hiking shoes with a non slip sole, maybe winter boots, not high fashion with heels. There will be many, many things to do and enjoy, Quebec city is lovely in December.
