Propane coolers

I used to camp quite a bit and getting into it again. I've been looking at some propane powered cooler and have found an interesting one PG353 propane AC dc cooler which make reference to peltier system not being efficient but say nothing about what system they use. There's also another site in the Gta They have a cooler twice the price but the people don't seem to know anything about what type of cooling system they use. Im testing the mobicool a40 and not very impressed so far. It's running in the house windows open its a very hot day and even with a frozen pork loin and two bottles of frozen water (which have melted) it's cool but these are optimal conditions. Was wondering if anyone has some information about the coolers I've mentioned or any other sources for a good propane powered cooler. Planing to see more of Canada and it would be nice not to have to worry about ice

Cheers
