Pre cruise hotel

Looking for a clean hotel just for one night before leaving next morning for cruise. Leaving out of Vancouver January 17, 2026 . Would like to find something below 200 if possible with shuttle to airport.
Thanks for your help.

$200 CAD before taxes is doable, but that’s definitely on the lower end for Vancouver, especially in January when there are still some conventions in town. I plugged in your date on Booking.com, and a few decent options in that range include:
  • Century Plaza Hotel: a concrete tower next to the hospital with kitchenettes in many rooms
  • The Burrard: a fun, retro-style refurbished motel across the street from the hospital
  • Days Inn on West Pender: in the business district, walkable to the Canada Line train and also the cruise ship terminal
  • O Canada House: a super charming Victorian-era B&B with breakfast included
  • YWCA Hotel on Beatty Street: simple but well-reviewed, and often one of the best deals in the city
One thing to know: no hotels in Vancouver offer airport shuttles. If that’s a dealbreaker, you’ll want to stay at an airport hotel in Richmond (a separate city just south of Vancouver), where shuttles are common. But if you’re hoping to stay in Vancouver itself, you’ll need to use a taxi, Uber/Lyft, or the Canada Line train to get to the airport.

So it’s one or the other - Vancouver location with no shuttle, or Richmond hotel with a shuttle.

I'm curious. What cruise are you taking that departs Vancouver in January?
