Post retirement vacation

Folks, I would be retiring next year by August after 32 years of service. I write this with a heavy heart as it would mean goodbye to everything that I considered my own for the past 32 years. I haven't planned anything as of now but would like to go on a small vacation with Jenny, my wife, preferably something more serene and calm. I Googled and read quite a lot of interesting views on Algonquin park( http://www.killarneylodge.com/ ). Could someone here advice me regarding this? What other alternate options do I have? Let's say I'm planning it for a couple of weeks.

I think you should give everyone here a hint of where you live, and where you've been (in brief summary, and limited to North America), in order so that they can best prioritize places you should see post-retirement.

Furthermore, it would inspire us to believe that you're not just some SPAMMER advertising for some random place.

You will enjoy your retirement much more (and probably live longer) if you can cultivate a more positive attitude.

Why only a small vacation? Now you are retired you have the time to go for longer, and to go further.

I'm not totally/absolutely/100% sure but Ithink the OP registered to post that link . . . probably won't hear any more from him.

I'm not sure or I would. If I see the other shoe drop, then yep, the Triangle of Death for sure >)
