Post Hotel, Lake Louise
 

Has anyone stayed at the Post Hotel in Lake<BR>Louise and what was it like, service, rooms etc. Were the grounds nice?<BR>Thank you.

The Post Hotel in Lake Louise is absolutely beautiful! If you stay on the preferred side of the hotel you get a great view of the mountains (but then again there are great views from any rooms) and you also have the river. It is definitely a deluxe property that offers the most incredible service, food and the best wine selection (over 28,000 bottles in the wine cellar).<BR>Room rates in the summer start at $305.00/night CDN.<BR><BR>

Post Hotel is my all time favorite. Rooms are gorgeous, food is the best around, service is excellent. It is a rare combination of the best yet not pretentious. Have fun.

We stayed at Post a few years ago and it was wonderful.Much, much better than the Chateau which is overrun by tourists. Also Post has an excellent dining room. Enjoy !

We plan to spend two nights at the Post, and plan dinner in their dining room one evening. Is "casual" attire appropriate, or do I need to take a jacket? I will have khaki's and shirts, but can pack something nicer, if necessary.<BR>Thanks!<BR>Marlyne

I have never stayed at the Post but Alberta generally tends to be quite casual.

Casual is fine, no jacket required. You'll love it! It's a world class restaurant with wonderful service.
