Places to visit between Montreal and Mont Tremblant?

We will be driving from Montreal to Mont Tremblant on Thursday, 10/4. Is there anywhere in particular we SHOULD stop on the way?

Can anyone recommend a nice restaurant for lunch?

Thanks.

HI MOLLY,
Get off the Laurentian Autoroute (highway 15 North)at St. SAUVEUR, and have lunch at Moe's Deli. They have a great menu, but their specialty is smoked meat. If you don't enjoy it, I'll pay.Let me know.

Hi Bill,

Thanks for the suggestion. Just wondering, is Moe's Deli a Jewish deli?

About half way between Montreal and Mont Tremblant is a Relais et Chateaux restaurant/hotel called "L'eau a la Bouche"

We had a very nice dinner there a couple of years ago - but I don't know if they're open for lunch - here's a web link with their phone number.

HI YA MOLLY,
Don't listen to Elizabeth, stick to Moe's Deli, yes it is also kosher. Then take a stroll to PAGE's bakery, and try their old fashioned mollases cookies.St. Sauveur is a charming little town with a pretty area to walk around and eat your cookies from the bag.All kidding aside, Liz's suggestion is an excellent one also, but just a little boring.Sorry Liz !

Pas de problem, Bill

My husband is from Rosemere and believes smoked meat is "nature's perfect food" (and of course laments the fact there is no good smoked meat in Toronto - it's a quest for him!)

Next time we visit St. Sauveur we'll definitely check out Moes!
