Has anyone ever stayed at The Custom House Inn in Pictou? It sounds very nice but it has a restaurant in the basement so I was wondering if it was noisy all the time? <BR><BR>Another place I was curious about is the Consulate Inn. Has anyone ever stayed here? Thanks for any help.

Strangely enough, I hadn't even heard of Pictou up until a few hours ago where I accidentally stumbled across a girl's webpage on Pictou. It's a part of Virtual Tourist, where people write travelogues and post pictures of the places they've been to. This girl lives in Pictou and wrote a few things about it. I would recommend the Consulate. They have several rooms within the inn and a couple of cabins located right on Pictou Harbour. Good food as well. The owner is a chef.<BR>
