PEI National Park
 

We are camping at the PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND NATIONAL PARK this summer and are not sure which campground has the better beach, campground and trails. CAVENDISH or STANHOPE?
Also which sites are the most private and heavily wooded? There are no site pics on the reservations page and their descriptions are pretty generic. Can anyone help us out?

Stanhope, site 18. It doesn't get more private than that. Don't know about Cavendish site.

Does the site have a good amount of shade?

I do remember because I was in #19 and I couldn't see 18 at all. The guy at the gate told me 18 was best ... and taken.

Not sure about shade. 19 was VERY shady but pretty small. You can't even see the site on the satellite photo because it's covered with tree tops.

Thanks for the map. Now I can pick a site and not worry about privacy or shade.
