PEI National Park

The PEI national park in cavendish is very beautiful. I went during July and it was very warm. The sand dunes are large and beautiful, and have a reddish tint to them. The down side of the park is that there is not much surf, and jelly fish are EVERYWHERE. I went swimming, and the whole time I had to be on my guard searching for jellyfish.

Funny because when we visited the first couple days of August we didn't encounter but a few jellyfish. Perhaps they are a seasonal thing. We liked PEI. Took in a community theatre presentation in Victory-By-The Sea, and went bike riding. A nice relaxful environment.

Yes, "relaxed" is exactly the word I would use to describe PEI. Visited in July {several years ago}, but the water in Cavendish was COLD, so I don't know if there were jellyfish - we never got in! There were, however, numerous jellyfish in another area - the one with ocean on one side, bay on the other - darn, WHAT'S it called?

Walt, we too went bike-riding. It was supberb! PEI has an extensive bike trail network through some of the most lovely, serene scenery I've seen anywhere.
