Passport and stamp
 

For example I am a canadian citizen. I went to visit Nepal for a month. By mistake, Nepal authority did not stamp in my passport on my arrival to Nepal airport. Will this be a problem while entering to my country Canada?

I want to add one more point, Nepal immigration did not stamped in my passport even during departure from Nepal. Passport shows only departure from Canada, but does not show the country I visited. Would it be a problem to enter to Canada with Canadian passport holder?

Why don't you call the Canadian consulate and ask them?

Are you really a Canadian citizen?

If so, then you will know that Canada does not have exit passport controls, so there will be no indication in your passport of leaving Canada.

If you have a Canadian passport that does have an exit stamp from Canada then it is most likely a fake that will easily be recognized as such by the Canada Border Services Agency.

If you have left Nepal, as you indicated, and have not yet tried to enter Canada, where are you now?

Yeah, I've had a feeling there was something a little odd about this. It's pretty easy to get whatever information this person is looking for from official sites rather than a travel chat board. Very curious.

No no you are mistaken. In my first post, I started the sentence with 'For example...' which I guess nobody noticed. I have not visited anywhere till now with Canadian passport as I have not acquired it. It is likely that they will issue Canadian passport once I become canadian citizen which has not happened yet. What I asked all of you that if I hold double citizenship, which may materialize after a year or two, how should I travel? Using canadian Passport or passport of my original country? This is my question.

Since you do not have your Canadian citizenship and passport and, according to you, that won't happen for some time (a year or two), I wouldn't worry about it until that time comes.

You guys want to concentrate on your own problems. Some say odd, and other say curious. What is this? Is it wrong to try to know something that may happen tomorrow?
The website refered to by Mee does not provide full information. You can try. So please don't say that every information is available in the website.This is incorrect. The purpose of the forum should be elimination of your confusion if any you have. If somebody does not have the answer, that's fine. If somebody come forward to help, it's also fine. Also, if somebody wants my reply in the area that i know, I will be happy to help him or her.

The website I took the time and trouble to look up for you contains contact information, which is what I thought would be useful for you. The "problem" that you would like us to consider doesn't even exist yet. This was not clear in your original post.

Thank you Mee! It might happen. I found the forums on different issues are helpful to know some important information which you cannot get in websites. That is why I joined this forum. if you have two passports of two different countries with you, you might be in confusion to which to use and when? Lav says there is no system of passport control while you are leaving Canada. I travelled several times from Canada, but I failed it to notice. Lav gave valuable inf, I believe. My question was very simple. At the time when one enters Canada, whether immigration people would be interested to know where that person visited. Or simply they ask nothing once they see Canadian passport? No fake passport, fake is ruled out. Genuine passport you hold
