overwhelmed by Toronto Airport hotel choices

Hello, I have been looking into Toronto airport hotels for one night. We want to keep it under $100 if possible. The thing is that hotels that are listed as "airport hotels " seem to be pretty far from the airport according to my map so I am hesitant to book. I was hoping a kind Toronto local could let me know the following:

1. name(s) of the street(s) where most of the airport hotels are located

2. Suggestions for inexpensive hotels that are no longer than a 10 minute drive to the airport and hopefully that offer a free shuttle service.

Thanks so much.

This link will give you most Hotels that are located on Airport Road.......I would say that all of them offer shuttle service, some free, some minimal charge. All of them are only a few minutes from the Airport.

http://toronto.airporthotelguide.com/airporthotels.html

Airport Road and Dixon Road are the same street, depending on whether they are in Mississauga or Toronto, but are all in one stretch.

Carlingview runs down one side of the airport, and is very close, too.

Constellation, Marriott, Delta, Bristol Place, a Holiday Inn, a Hilton, a Travelodge, a Quality or Comfort Hotel, a Best Western, and some others are all within ear-shot of landing airplanes. And others.

There's a quality Inn on Islington that is pretty far away, as is the Valhalla.

BAK

I would not recommend the Constellation. The lobby is impressive, but our room was one of the worst we have stayed in anywhere. It was "bare bones" shabby and not clean, the bed was hard as a rock.

In addition, they had our reservations for the night before we arrived. We did get a room the night of our arrival, but charged us for 2 nights. Our flight out was early the next morning and there was no one to talk to that could correct the problem. We called when we got home, but were still double billed. It took some time to get it straightened out.

We did get the feeling that there were nicer and remodled rooms. But don't know for sure.

We found the Bristol Place clean, comfortable and reasonable price and would recommend it.

The Sheraton is connected to terminal 3 so it's IMO the most convenient & where I always stay (but it is > $100.)
