Ottawa Radisson vs. Ottawa Best Western ???

Hi,

Could anyone please help me choose between these two hotels:

Best Western Victoria Park Suites
377 O'Connor Street CA Ottawa, Ontario, K2P 2M2

and

Radisson Hotel Ottawa Parliament Hill
402 QUEEN ST, OTTAWA, ON K1R5A7

These two have similar price.

Which one is better located for walking/sightseeing? We are two adults and an 8-year old staying in Ottawa for 1 night in mid-April. We’ve never been to Ottawa before.

Thank you.
Kind regards,
Vincent.

For location, I would definitely choose the Radisson.

The Radisson is 1.1 km from the entrance to parliament hill. The Victoria park is 1.5 km. So laverendrye is correct. But the Victoria Park is practically adjacent to the Museum of Nature, so if there is any interest in dinosaur bones and the like, that might tip the balance toward that property.

If you have any other choice of hotels, like Westin at Rideau Center, Minto Suites and Hotel, even Crowne Plaza - that would be a better option. Radisson is very old.

Why don't you try Priceline to get a good hotel by bidding?
