Ontario and/or Quebec spas
We will be three women travelling for a day or two and would like to find a nice spa, preferably something that is not too pricey.
St. Anne's and its sister property are probably out of the question expense-wise. Has anyone been to any good spas lately that they would highly recommend? Thanks. |
There are a multitude of spas in Quebec;
where would you be staying? When you say St. Anne's , do you mean Ste Anne de Beaupré ? near Quebec City? |
No, I meant St. Anne's spa in Grafton, Ontario. They also have a spa called the Hillcrest in Port Hope, Ontario.
We are from Toronto,and would be willing to drive about 5 hours or so, or maybe take VIA rail, to Quebec. I have no ideas what nice spas exist in Quebec, hence, my post. Thanks. |
Hi Jamierin,
I stayed at the Brides Gate Inn in Bancroft for 2 nights last February and really enjoyed it. I didn't do the spa package, but i know that it's one of the Ontario Spa's. When I went I got a last minute deal for $99.00/night and the room was beautiful. The website is: http://www.bridesgate.com/ |
Thanks Holly 25,
I actually saw their web site and the place looks fantastic. Did you partake in any services? |
I went with my fiance to celebrate our engagement and never got around to trying anything. We did venture down to the spa area though to the eucalyptice steam room and everything looked very nice. My fiance's step-mom spent her birthday at the spa though and loved it. Lots of Aveda products and relaxing atmosphere.

Also, I beleive they offer a friends/sisterhood getaway package.

Thanks for all of the info. I will check it out. Congrats on your engagement!
