One week hiking itinerary advice needed- Montreal, QC, Charlevoix- first time
 

Hi- This is my first time posting to Fodors and also first time planning to Canada. Traveling with my adult son for 7-8 days at the end of August. He wants to do day hikes, and I’m in ok shape- but not great. Here’s what we have so far and would love any and all advice:
Day 1 - land Montreal- 2 nights
Day 3 drive to Mont Tremblant, hike stay night
Day 4 - drive to La Mauricie - Hike, stay overnight in Shawingan
Day 5 Drive to Baie St Paul hike and overnight
Day 6- Quebec City- falls at Montmorency overnight
Day 7- Coaticook and Forest Lumina overnight near there
day 8- drive back to Montreal for afternoon flight

i realize this is a lot of driving so any thoughts on what to skip and where to stay longer would be very much appreciated
