One day in Victoria

One of our stops on our Cruise will be in Victoria. Can anyone tell us about places to visit in our limited time there.
Thank You

There are lots of things in the Inner Harbour area that you can walk to. Royal BC Museum (great for kids too), horse-drawn carriage tours, touristy shopping on Government St., a stroll through the Empress Hotel (can have tea there for $$$). If you have more time catch a shuttle bus to Butchart Gardens.
Try a search on this forum - there's lots of info.

I doubt if anyone could improve much on taggie's suggestions. Certainly the inner harbor area will easily provide enough attractions for a few hours of strolling around. Another site about one block off the harbor is Thunderbird Park with its wonderful old totems. A great "kodak moment" place.
If you've only a few hours before your ship departs, trying to get back and forth to Butchart Gardens would be too much of a stretch. I'd only tempt it if you have 5 hours or more and decide to do just that one trip straight off the ship.
