With all due respect - wouldn't it be easier if you told us what your budget was and what your particular interests are? There really is so much to see and do that it would be a waste of time and energy to list them all without knowing your personal interests.

You are coming at probably the best time weather wise for the province although it may be a little warmer than your used to - outside of Vancouver and the Island anyways. If you like Fireworks we have one of the great fireworks festivals here on the evenings of July 28th and August 1st, 4th & 8th.

Besides this post you should consult the regular vancouver and BC sites. You'll find many just by typing in www.vancouver or www.supernaturalbc and variations thereof. Get back to us with more specific questions and we'll be happy to answer.

Vancouver Island is filled with places to see: Butchart Gardens, Salt Spring Island for Saturday Market, Tofino (West Coast), Cathedral Grove and Englishman River Falls (huge old trees and nice waterfalls). Also plan on driving up to Whistler from Vancouver. You could also consider driving down to Seattle for a few days and get some American flavor to the trip.

You don't want to miss Banff definitely.
You could take the ferry to Vancouver Island, drive to Port Hardy, take the ferry to Prince Rupert and drive back to Vancouver. This would be a very easy 7 day trip with a sidetrip to Banff. Reservations are req'd on the Prince Rupert ferry however.
