Hi April. A couple of years ago I stayed in one of the B&B rooms at the Sandy Beach Lodge in Naramata. I really loved it. The rooms were very nicely decorated, there was a screened in patio that looked over the lake to sit on and have your breakfast. I wasn't impressed with breaky because it was white-bread type rolls and we are whole wheat people, but that wasn't why we stayed there. Naramata is definitely a quiet town (if you can even call it that!) It had one main road with a store, chinese food restaurant, and great pub with excellent food. We ate at the pub for both lunch and dinner. Peace and tranquility it is! Sandy Beach lodge had several log cabins that are rented, and I didn't see to many people around at all. I'd make sure a big loud wedding party hasn't been booked when you stay. The property is right on the lake, excellent for swimming, they had row boats to take out, a pool, a hot tub, ping pong, and a room where you could sit and watch tv. Everything is very clean. The B&B rooms were suited for adults. The B&B rooms had their own private entrance (a stairway led up to the B&B rooms - you didn't have to go through the owners living space, which was nice) Because of the limited facilites in the area (like restaurants) I would only stay a couple of nights to relax and unwind. You have to go into Penticton to get any real shopping. I really loved visiting the wineries in the area to do some wine tasting.
