Oak Bay Guest House, Victoria BC
 

Has anyone stayed at the Oak Bay Guest House in Victoria, BC?

I've never heard of it (and my parents live in Oak Bay) can you provide a little more information, address, etc.

It's on Newport Street

Just Googled it and it got a 4.5 rating and several good reviews. I recognize the house and it is lovely and in a great part of Victoria. Haven't stayed there, but it would appear to be a good choice.

Any suggestions of places to eat in this area? Good pub food?

There are a few good pubs in the area but our favourite is the PennyFarthing

It is the closest to an authentic English pub.

Blighty's Bistro is great, but you will need reservations.
