Novia Scotia
 

We (2 senior adults) plant to visit Nova Scotia in September for 2-3 weeks. I have not even started to plan. I like to get thoughts and ideas from those of you familiar with an area before I even start. We have been to PEI before and will save Newfoundland for another time because I have heard that you need at least 2 weeks for each and I don't think we want to be gone for 4 weeks. I would like to stay in a few areas for 3-4 days and do day trips from there. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
We will arrive from Denver and I think Halifax is the logical place to fly in to. Is there a ferry from Maine if we fly there? I am not opposed to fly in to one airport and out of another unless the drop fee for a car is ridiculous.
