Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, PEI and Newfoundland in 7-9 days?

Is this even possible? The other wrench we have is that we have to be in Nova Scotia on a certain day for a wedding. Any examples of possible travel schedules? PEI and New Brunswick aren't huge in our priority list but Newfoundland and Nova Scotia are so we would want to spend the most amount of time there.

Where are you coming from and how will you be getting around? Is the wedding included in that 7-9 days? Where in NS is the wedding?

Seeing all provinces in that time is possible of course, but I certainly wouldn't recommend it. If you really want to see Newfoundland, then you would be best to fly there and rent a car. Then you will have to choose between the east and west coasts unless you want to spend a lot of time driving. I would suggest the east. Fly to St. John's and spend about 5 days touring the Avalon and Bonavista peninsulas and then fly to Halifax. Spend the rest of the time visiting NS.

If you are driving to the Maritimes and still want to see NL then your best bet would be to drive to North Sydney NS, take the ferry (about 6 hrs) and visit the west coast--principally Grose Morne and perhaps the Northern Peninsula.

Unless you want to drop Newfoundland (which I wouldn't) you will have to leave PEI and NB for another visit.

can't possibly do it unless you want your whole vacation in a car/ferry/plane. newfoundland is very large and slow to get around. with limited time, the ferry is probably not an option. pick a priority...nova scotia or newfoundland. if it's newfoundland, spend most of your days there and 2 nights in halifax. or spend your entire time on nova scotia. even doing that, you won't be able to explore the whole island. halifax needs 2-3 ngiths, cape breton/cabot need 3-4 nights

Much as I love Newfoundland, I would suggest you limit yourself to Nova Scotia. There is more than enough to explore in the time you have available and you can plan your schedule around the wedding. If you fly into the city where that will take place ( or whichever airport is closest) you should be able to do a more or less circular route around the province. Allow some flex time because Cape Breton/Cabot trail really need clear day for the spectacular views so you may want to wait out a foggy one in one of the charming towns such as Baddeck.

Echoing eliztravels2 here... you can either have a comfortable trip/vacation around Nova Scotia and nearby surrounds, or you can have a strained-by-too-much-travel experience in the wider area.

And speaking of in the area, "Northwest Territories" is at least 1400 miles from the closest spot in Newfoundland, so I don't know why you included that in the "Tagged" locations.

The location of the wedding will dictate how you should begin and/or end your trip, and while it might make sense to add P.E.I., and while it does make sense to add New Brunswick, for Hopewell Cape at the very least, you would likely be most comfortable if sticking for the most part to Nova Scotia.

Another echo...and I'm a Newfoundlander! The only way to even "sample" Newfoundland within those constraints would be to fly from Halifax and spend a few days on either the west coast or around St. John's. You'd need to rent a car also, so high expense for limited payback. Newfoundland needs at least a full week on the island, IMO.
On the other hand, a lovely trip around NS andNB can easily be scheduled. Fly/drive to NS, do Cape Breton, break for wedding, do Halifax / Annapolis Valley or NB/bay of Fundy/Acadian shore. There are a number of NS trip reports on here to peruse.
