Nova Scotia Lodging

We will be travelling in Nova Scotia for 10 days. We cannot decide between staying at Keltic Lodge or at Sea Breeze, in Ingonish on Cape Breton Island. Similarly, should we stay in Digby (Digby Pines Inn) or Annapolis Royal? Thank you

I am unfamiliar w/ Sea Breeze & have never heard of it. But I do know Keltic Lodge & have stayed there many times over the years. The location is spectacular. Keltic Lodge is situated on a peninsula that juts out into the Atlantic Ocean. If you do decide to stay there, stay in The Main Lodge, not The Inn which is located down the hill from The Main Lodge. The dining room @ Keltic Lodge is beautiful. There's not a bad table in the room! The food is wonderful.

When are you going to NS?

July 1 is a holiday. Canada Day. You shd probably reserve your accomodations asap if you have not done so already.

Have a great trip!

Digby Pines is expensive for what you get. Although the grounds and surroudings are lovely, I wouldn't pay for the price of the room.

I would vote Annapolis Royale over Digby, it's a lovely little town with a lot of Victorian houses.
