Northern Lights at Churchill

Jump to last reply

My internet search seems to show that the only way to see the Northern Lights from Churchilll is via a very expensive 7 day or more tour out of Winnipeg. Can I just get a flight into Churchill and try my luck with a local operator over a few days (3/4)? Does anyone know if this is possible to do at a much cheaper price? I don't mind spending a few hundred dollars for a tour per day not $800+. Am I too cheap? I'd appreciate any advice? I'm thinking of traveling there in February 2017. Thank you.
