Nice B&B's in Victoria?

My husband and I will be spending a week on Vancouver Island in late September and like to stay in really nice B&B's. I know there are several in Victoria near the harbor. Can anyone make a recommendation for one in Victoria? Thanks!

Ginny: Menzies Manor is fantastic. See similar question about Victoria B&Bs.

We just returned from spending 3 glorious days in Victoria. I would very highly recommend KingsHouse B&B. The accomodations are first rate, the food spectacular, the proprietors friendly and accomodating. You won't go wrong with this selection.

Ginny,
You will "love" Victoria. We vacationed for a month in August in an old "Charactor" home a few years back and hope to return soon.
As we stayed in the Oak Bay area, some very good friends of ours that own a lumber business always stayed at the "Oak Bay Beach Guest House" when in the area. It is located on Newport Ave. You can find it on the internet. Oak Bay is a lovely "British style" upscale town very near the town of Victoria. Note: I would recommend the "Marina Restaurant" for a Sunday brunch overlooking the boats in the harbor. Fantastic!
Enjoy. Coco

We love Spinnakers Guest House. Not a "traditional" B&B because you take your breakfast in Spinnakers' restaurant -- about fifty steps away from the guest house. Tea and/or coffee, orange juice and the newspaper are quietly delivered to a table outside your door at about 7:00am ... The website (www.spinnakers.com) doesn't do justice to the rooms in the 1889(?) converted home ... they're beautifully decorated and outfitted with jacuzzis and fireplaces. The location is far enough from downtown to be more quiet and restful, but close enough to reach easily via 30 minute walk or a quick $6 cab ride or fun harbour taxi trip.
