Niagara Falls, ON - Sheraton or Brock Plaza?

(this will be posted on the US board as well)

I got what I think is a good deal at both hotels and wanted to know what those of you who have been there think...

Sheraton on the Falls - Fallside Room - an "unobstructed view of the American Falls" and a "sitting area with a fireplace".

Brock Plaza - Regency Club - on the "upper floors of the hotel with private elevator access. Guaranteed the best view of Niagra Falls with floor to ceiling windows".

We are a married couple in our early 30's. This will be in mid-June. The price is about the same.

Any comments/suggestions.

Thanks for your help.
Happy travelling.

I haven't been to either, but read a good comment about Brock Plaza awhile back. May I ask what rate you found at Brock Plaza & did you go directly with the hotel or somewhere else? We'll be visiting early June & I'm looking for good deals! Thanks!

I have stayed at both hotels mentioned. I thaught that they were both way overpriced. Although the location is great, in this case it is not everything. Check out the Hilton or the Sherton Fallsview. The view is almost as good, the rooms are way better, and the price will probably lower. p.s. These hotels also have a good location.

I stayed at the Brock last June since it actually was much lower priced than the Sheraton which is basically right next door. The Brock is very old but stately inside and it is in need of some renovations. The food in the dining room was not very good but we did get a breakfast package. They both connect to the casino if that is of interest to you. I think if I had to choose I would go with the Sheraton since it is newer and probably nicer rooms since they are basically the same rate. Try dining at the Twenty-One restaurant at the casino since most of the food is average in that area and it was excellent there.
