Niagara Falls in December

Has anyone been to the Falls in December?
As it is the only time available to us is it worthwhile going?

Yes it is definately worthwhile. I've been many times in the winter and it's always beautiful.
In December it most likely won't be frozen . But if it's cold, the walkway does get icey from the spray.

Off season is a great time to visit the Falls... The best rooms can be had for a fraction of their summer prices and the Wine region remains active through the Winter...You also might catch a Bills or Sabres Game or side trip to Toronto...

Thanks for your replies.
We will include it in our trip

There are lighted displays along the parkway, and the falls are illuminated every evening. Quite pretty and, as noted above, cheaper than high season.
