Niagara Falls Dining

Hi, we'll be visiting Niagara Falls for one night and would love some suggestions for where to go for dinner. Are the restaurants with views of the falls worth it or just overrated? Thanks.

Hey, Dontwasteyuortime, don't be a jerk. It seems the poster is not a native English speaker. So have some respect and give a helpful answer. Or be quiet.

Anne: I'm making the assumption that your question relates to the Canadian side, where the views are best. I don't think you would be disappointed with dinner at the Skylon Tower. It's not over priced for the area, from what I've heard recently the food is quite good, and if it's a clear night, the view is spectacular. There are two dining rooms, a la carte (revolves) and the other is a buffet. Try to time your reservation (you'll need one) for the illumination of the Falls. Have a great time!
http://www.skylontower.com/index2.html

We went to the Skylon Tower revolving restaurant last summer. Made reservations for 9:00 pm so we would not be rushed. It was a Friday night and we could see the fireworks (seasonal) display at the falls. Food and service were excellent. Huge portions, very expensive. You can preview the menu and wine list on their website, which someone else posted above. Children's menu available, also expensive.
One warning, we were a party of 3 and had a big comfy booth elevated higher than the tables by the window (still a great view). The tables by the window are two deep and are reserved for couples. They are very close together, so there is not much privacy for a romantic dinner. If you eat later, you can probably put in a special request for where you want to sit. Enjoy your visit.
