Newfoundland in November

How is the weather in Newfoundland in November? Is it worth going? I am used to very cold weather and it won't bother me.

can't comment on the weather but just wanted to remind you that day light hours will be pretty short in november.

November is when the winter gales begin, so it may not be particularly cold (above freezing for the most part), but you can expect cloud, fog, and high winds. I'm including the URLs for an Environment Canada overview of weather in Newfoundland and one to a BBC weather site, which says, by the way, that St. John's averages two hours of sunshine a day in November (the temperatures are in celcius).

I forgot to mention rain--it's also the month with the most rainfall, according to the BBC page.

On the other hand, nothing can dampen the Newfoundland spirit.
