Need Help ID'ing Flowers at Lake Louise
I have three flowers that I am trying to identify. If anyone can help, I'd really appreciate it.

The first flower in the album was taken on the shoreline trail at Lake Louise. The other two were in the flower baskets on the grounds of the Chateau.
Thanks in advance.

#1 of 3 is what I call potentilla. We have several of them in our yard. It is a wildflower that has become popular with gardeners, and is available in local nurseries.
One of our plant identification books, Alberta Wayside Wildflowers by Linda Kershaw, calls it shrubby cinquefoil. According to Kershaw, it has three Latin names:
* Dasiphora fruticosa
* Potentilla fruticosa
* Pentaphylloides floribunda

Hi bmacdon,
I am embarrassed at what happened here.
I typed my response to eenusa, hit the "POST MY REPLY" button, went off and made dinner and ate it.
When I returned to my computer after dinner, I found that my post was still sitting there, in preview mode.
I saw your post about the flowers in photos #2 and #3. But, since our two posts provided information about different photos and did not overlap each other, I went ahead and clicked on the "POST MY REPLY" button again so that my message would be published.
To my surprise, my post was inserted before yours. I suppose that, although my post had been in preview mode, it still had retained its position ahead of yours in the queue.
