Need advice - Vancouver to Victoria and back

Jump to last reply

We are currently staying in North Vancouver as part of our vacation. Would like to in a couple of days go to Victoira for 3 days. Have already made reservation at the Fairmont Empress. We have a car. What is the best option?
- Take the car with us to victoria? (the fee for taking have heard is high)
- Return the car here in vancouver and just take the ferry and rely on public transportation in victoria. (How efficient would that be?)
-
- We have to take the ferry back on the 10th and then take a flight out of YVR.
- Do we need to book the ferries and the cars into the ferry in advance?
We have 2 big and 2 small suitcases and 2 kids.
I am trying to figure out which terminal is the best for taking the ferry from and back.
Any advice will help!
Thanks a bundle!
