Moving from Toronto to Vancouver
Hi, my family will move to Vancouver from Toronto soon. We have a lease transport truck so we do not drive there. This is our first time to move long distance. We are looking forward to hearing any advice from you guys.
What is the best moving kit, blankets and where I can get it? It’s only for my luggage softy. I am long for hearing from you! |
Good packing is the most important thing to ensure your items get there safely.
If you are packing yourself, U-haul is an excellent source of self-moving supplies. There are lots of locations everywhere. Be sure you don't skimp on buying proper moving supplies such as moving boxes and packing paper. Don't try to save a few pennies and use boxes from the liquor store, etc. These boxes don't stack well and will not be able to withstand a long-haul move. I've found it always takes longer to pack than I think it will! Have a good move Enjoy-la! |
Hi
You may simply purchase some boxes or a complete moving kit. Can’t decide how much supplies you need? Simply choose your move size and we will help you... www.movingstartup.com Nice journey |
Gee, I've moved often and found that those boxes from liquor stores hold up really well and require only a bit of thought to stack them properly. Of course, the best boxes are those from breweries if you live close to one. Go in and ask for crown boxes. They're perfect.
This thread sounds like a set - up for a box seller. |
I'm not sure if you've moved yet, but a great place to uy moving blankets is from US Cargo Control. Click on this link to go to the moving blankets page. http://www.uscargocontrol.com/moving...pads-c-77.html They ship everything the same day. There is also a great furniture moving strap called Teamstrap www.teamstrap.com These straps are a must if you want to save your back. Good luck with your move. I hope all your valuables make it in one piece.
