Montreal with toddlers

Driving up for 3 nights in September. Thinking about staying at Hotel Casa Bella as I was something economical....we won't be spending much time in the hotel anyway. Any other hotel suggestions?

We'll go to the Biodome and maybe the botanical gardens. Any family hikes around or other great places for kiddos?

Just discovered the Days Inn has room s for $108 + $20 to park. Thinking about staying there instead....

you might find some good hotel deals through this promotion

Some of these have swimming pools which is always a plus for our kids when they were young.

I don't know which Days Inn you mean. There are several. I have not stayed at any of them or at Hotel Cassa Bella

It looks as though the Insectarium will reopen soon, likely to be popular with kids. I am a bigger fan of the Biosphère on Île Sainte-Hélène than the Biodome

I would go to Mont Royal Park for short hikes

My children have always enjoyed http://ville.montreal.qc.ca/portal/p...age=bt_parc_08

September is a beautiful time to visit. Lots of turtles, frogs and waterfowl.

My ex-toddler enjoyed, when he wa a toddler, the insectarium, especially whenhe had a magnifying glass with him.

And he enjoyed Old Montreal, where there were big concrete and stone blocks to climb on, and horses and carriages.

Costco hot dogs.
