Montreal weather - this weekend
Hi
Need some advice. Weather.com indicates the temps are mid seventies and the low in the high 50's/low 60's. I am geting a jacket for evening. I am wondering if I will need a jacket for daytime is it windy, would it be better to have boots rather than open toes shoes. Really appreciate any info - feeling cold makes me miserable - but am trying to reduce my luggage. |
Environment Canada shows Saturday a little warmer than what you have posted. http://www.weatheroffice.ec.gc.ca/fo...ity_e.html?yul
Only you can decide what you will be comfortable with. |
Thanks Gavin, I know cold/hot is subjective
while I wear a nice thick sweater in my cube, my coworker is the next cube is sitting in shorts and sandals. Well, I guess I could always buy something, always an appealing option :) |
indie,
Go shopping here! www.lesailes.com When we go to Montreal in August/September, I always manage to find something great on sale here :) Have a good time! Boy, do I wish I were in Montreal this week~ Scarlett (in Florida) |
Scarlet, unfortunately Les Ailes is only a shadow of its former self. When we were there a month ago the top two floors were closed. There is always Simons.
|
NO!! I was just there last August :(
Simons is good and sometimes so is Ogilvies .. why is Ailes doing badly? Thanks for telling me, Gavin. Oh well, there is always Holt Renfrew :) |
Les Ailes almost went under but was allowed a restructuration plan that involved downsizing; it was done well and the reduced store is attractive but only a shadow of what it was; really too bad......
For the weather in mtl, you'll be fine with open sandals during the day but a closed shoe might serve you better at night; it's actually perfect weather for sight seeing, the highs get warmer than predicted lately.... |
