Montreal: Speed Boat Rides

I read where you can take speed boat rides May through October from 10AM to 6PM at the Jaques Cartier Pier in the Old Port of Montreal. Champs de Mars Metro. Cost for adults was 22CD per person.

Has anybody done it? How long is the ride?

I have not taken one of these rides but it sounds like great fun!
Topping this for degas~

Do you mean the JetBoat ride? I've taken that one. It takes you into the Lachine Rapids and hits them in a way that waves come on top of you like a tidal wave. It lasts about an hour and it's great fun.

Yes, that's the one. They list rafting, speed boating and jet boating as options. Speed boat is supposed to go 60 mph so that's plenty fast enough for me.

Degas

I am told there are two type of rides one that last an hour goes through the rapids, another is a 20 minutes fast ride, resembling something out of a James bond movie :)
