Planning an August trip to Montreal, Quebec and Niagara Falls, Looking for recommendations for hotels. We like smaller more personal hotels or b and b, with local flavor in the $100-200 range. Thanks Diane

If you're staying overnight in Niagara Falls on the Canadian side I'd highly advise you NOT to stay at the Fallsview Hotel, their prices are good, but the hotel is one of the worst in the area. There are much better options! Have a great trip.

Your best option for Niagara Falls is nearby Niagara on the Lake. .. just 15 minutes from the Falls , the Village offers cottages and B&B options in the wine region... you can then drive to the Falls. ..
