Montreal Hotel for Formula One Grand Prix Racing
 

Help!<BR><BR>Seems like all the hotel rooms are sold out for the weekend of June 13-15th in Montreal.<BR><BR>Any suggestions or advice?<BR>

Hi Mike:<BR><BR>Here are some suggestions: 1) try a google search for &quot;vacation rentals condos montreal&quot;, 2) try unversity residences as i think that some of them will be turned into hostels/hotels for the summer, 3) if you have a car perhaps you can stay outside of Montreal. Hope this helps.

Are you phoning or checking dates on the web? There's probably a three-day minimum stay requirement, so if you're shopping the web for two nights only, you'll find no availability for hotels with a minimum stay requirement.

Donna makes a good point. If you are checking dates online, hotels with three-night minimums will not show availability, even if there are plenty of rooms.

Mike, I just booked a room @ the Maritime Plaza Hotel last weekend in Montreal at 1155 Guy Street...it is a little pricey, but I was grateful to get a room! Everything was booked! The other thing is that Hilton International as well as the major chains have hotels in Laval which is 10 miles north of Montreal...they still had plenty of rooms and are significantly cheaper.
