Go to the Auberge du Vieux Port. It's a little larger than a b&b, 28 rooms, but the service is very personalized and the full breakfast is amazing.

Auberge de Vieux Port is THE place. An old factory type building that has been converted to a classy boutique hotel. Would not hesitate to go back any time of year. Service is superb, concierge a delight, and the breakfast (oh those crepes!) is the best... go and enjoy!!! My wife and her friend fell in love with the asst concierge... I think his name is Loren... ooh la la

I thought the Vieux Port was a hotel?
B&B's can be found in a small booklet that the Canadian tourism board can send you, they are generally homes converted into B&B's,less expensive than hotels and not in the heart of things.
What's great about the Auberge du Vieux-Port is that the service is as personalized as a b&b but you still have all the privacy of a hotel.
